MDE Third Party Compliance Inspection

Avoid Fines & Keep America Clean
Due to the demand of more frequent inspections of underground storage tanks the MDE now requires a MDE third party compliance inspection. The purpose of the inspection is to make sure your tank and its components are working properly and especially not leaking any petroleum products. A tank leaking even small amounts of product could cause severe damage to the environment.
The MDE requires inspections every three years. You will receive a notice with instructions from MDE when you have an upcoming inspection. The notice also includes a copy of the MDE inspection so you can be better prepared. If you don’t get your inspection completed within the time MDE allows you, MDE will fine you.
Certified Experienced Inspectors
Commercial Fuel Systems has certified inspectors to perform your inspection. It is very important to schedule your inspections as soon as possible. The MDE third party inspection has to be completed within 30 days from receiving your notice. Our goal is to help you through the inspection process, get your system compliant, and always strive to keep your costs to a minimum. We are happy to answer any questions you may have.
